Microsoft is rolling out an additional feature for its Your Phone app, which brings Windows 10 PCs and Android devices closer together. Though this one is limited to both Insiders and specific phones, it gives a hint of the service’s future.
Essentially, users can now in the phone screen section of the app. For the unfamiliar, phone screen mirrors your android display to your PC so that you can interact with apps without disruption. It currently works only with select Samsung Galaxy devices.
With the addition of Inking, users can draw on their laptop screen and have the results display on their phone. This could be useful if you want to utilize an Android painting app on PC or handwrite notes. Full pressure sensitivity is supported.
The news was shared by senior program manager Analy Diaz on Twitter, who also shared an image of it in action. She noted that Your Phone supports pressure, the app will have to support it too.
